• The group will assemble at the pick-up point in Guwahati where a brief introduction by the trip captain will be provided.
• Afterwards, we'll head towards Shillong, a charming hill station nestled in the East Khasi Hills, often referred to as the “Scotland of the East.”
• En route, we will halt at Umiam Lake, which looks absolutely magical during monsoon with mist-covered hills and lush green surroundings.
• Upon reaching Shillong, we'll check into our hotel and relax for a while.
• In the evening, we’ll explore Police Bazaar, indulge in café hopping, and experience the local vibe of Shillong.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

• After breakfast, we’ll check out and begin our journey towards Cherrapunji (Sohra), known for its heavy rainfall and dramatic landscapes.
• En route, we’ll visit Elephant Falls, which flows in full force during the monsoon season.
• We’ll then head to Laitlum Canyon, often covered in dense fog, offering surreal valley views.
• Next, we’ll stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, where clouds drift through the valleys creating breathtaking scenery.
• We’ll also explore the beautiful Garden of Caves, a hidden gem filled with waterfalls, caves, and greenery.
• Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, we’ll check into our hotel.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Highlight of the Day: Elephant Falls, Laitlum Canyon, Mawkdok Valley, Garden of Caves

• After breakfast, we’ll spend the day exploring Cherrapunji’s most stunning waterfalls at their monsoon peak.
• We’ll visit the famous Nohkalikai Falls, which looks most powerful during this season.
• Next, we’ll head to Seven Sisters Falls (Nohsngithiang Falls), a spectacular seven-segmented waterfall.
• We’ll also explore the limestone formations of Mawsmai Cave.
• We will visit Wei Sawdong Falls, known for its multi-tiered beauty. (Note: This will only be done if weather conditions are safe and the group is comfortable, as the steps can be slippery during monsoon.)
• After a day filled with natural wonders, we’ll return to our hotel.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Highlight of the Day: Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, waterfall exploration

• After an early breakfast, we’ll check out and head towards Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village.
• Here, we’ll explore the village and visit the famous Living Root Bridge, which involves a short and manageable walk even during monsoon.
• After soaking in the natural beauty, we’ll drive back to Shillong.
• Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and relax.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

Note: In case Mawlynnong is not accessible due to road conditions or landslides, we will visit Kongthong Village (Whistling Village) instead.

Highlight of the Day: Mawlynnong village, Living Root Bridge

• After breakfast, we’ll head for a scenic drive to Jowai, known for its untouched natural beauty.
• We’ll visit Tyrshi Falls, a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by greenery.
• Next, we’ll explore the stunning Krang Suri Falls, which looks even more magical during the monsoon with its vibrant blue waters.
• If conditions permit, we may visit Phe Phe Falls. (Note: The visit to Phe Phe Falls is weather-dependent and will be undertaken only if conditions are safe, as the trail may become slippery during the monsoon.)
• After the excursion, we’ll return to Shillong.
• In the evening, enjoy café hopping and explore the local markets.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

Highlight of the Day: Jowai excursion, Krang Suri Falls, café hopping

• After breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel and head back to Guwahati.
• Upon arrival, the group will go their separate ways according to their onward journeys.
• End of the trip with beautiful monsoon memories of Meghalaya.
